ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will conduct recruitments next week to help CarMax and Taco Bell fill a number of jobs in Cobb County.

The recruitments will be at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Rd. in Marietta.

On Monday, Aug. 13, the GDOL will help CarMax Auto Finance fill several part-time collection and customer service jobs for a call center in Kennesaw.  The recruitment will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Applicants are encouraged to have at least six months of call center experience, be bi-lingual (English and Spanish), and have completed online pre-screening at www.carmaxautofinance.com/jobs prior to the event.  The salary is $11 per hour.

On Wednesday, Aug. 15, the GDOL will help Taco Bell fill several full-time shift-leader positions. The recruitment will be held from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), and six to 12 months experience in a fast food establishment. The salary is $9.25 per hour and includes a store performance bonus.
