At a recent awards dinner, Hotel Equities (www.hotelequities.com) awarded the company's Sales Award of the Quarter to Christina Howell-Scott for her top performance during the past quarter.  A resident of Peachtree Corners, Ms. Howell-Scott serves as the Director of Sales for the Fairfield Inn & Suites
Buckhead.

She has responsibility for initiating sales and implementing the marketing strategy for both corporate and leisure market sales for the hotel under the leadership of Tonya Young, the hotel’s General Manager.   She capitalizes on the special amenities and services provided by the hotel.

“In a very competitive market, Christina beat her budget by a considerable margin and grew her hotel’s market share,” said Ms. Derby.  “By energizing sales, she helped the hotel avoid a downward trend and re-claim success.”

With more than 15 years in sales and marketing, Christina brought a wealth of experience to her position at Hotel Equities last fall. Previous jobs included the Marketing Manager at HoneyBaked Ham and Senior Account Manager for USA Today.

Ms. Howell-Scott holds a B.S. in Statistics from the University  of Georgia.  She lives with her husband and son in Peachtree Corners where she enjoys cooking and gardening in her free time.    ###
