Industry publication Bicycle Retailer and Industry News (BRAIN), which annually publishes its "Top 100 Retailers," selected The Bicycle Wheel, located in nearby Johns Creek, as one of the best bike shops in the country for 2012. 

The Top 100 were selected through a nomination process that included the industry's top suppliers and distributors, taking into consideration sales volume, professionalism, operational excellence, business practices, community involvement, advocacy work, creativity and customer service. 

In addition to the Top 100 list, BRAIN awards its "BRAINy Awards" to recognize exceptional industry achievement and excellence among the country's Top 100 retailers.  For 2012, The Bicycle Wheel was awarded a BRAINy award for "Best Family Bike Shop".
