Participants Needed for Pet Revolution 2013

Opportunities are available for those interested in participating in Pet Revolution 2013. This event, hosted by Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement, will take place on Friday, May 17, 2013 and will run for 48 hours, through Sunday, May 19.

Atlanta area animal control agencies and rescue groups are encouraged to bring available animals to the event where those pets adopted will be taken directly home by the new owners.

This Pet Revolution 2013 event will also offer education for attendees on spaying and neutering as well as on pet ownership. Mobile surgical units will be onsite around the clock to perform these procedures and public education events will take place at various locations across the Gwinnett Fairgrounds campus. Seminars will cover animal handling, pest control, rabies control and more.

Vendors and concessions will be available for pets and people as well. This event will take place at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds in Lawrenceville.

Interested in participating as a corporate sponsor, vendor or rescue/animal control group? Contact Sergeant Chip Moore at 770-339-3200, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
