Peachtree Corners Festival Helps Community
The 2012 Peachtree Corners Festival held on June 30 and July 1 featured the LifeSouth Bloodmobile.
Here is an excerpt from a thank you letter written by Life South Donor Recruiter Dan Jones to the Festival:
"Thank you for allowing LifeSouth to come out to the Peachtree Corners Festival this year. The event was a huge success. 21 pints of blood were collected at this event. This is enough blood to save the lives of up to 63 people in this community."
Had that weekend not been the hottest in recorded history, many more people would have attended the festival and may have donated more blood. The addition of the LifeSouth Bloodmobile to the festival was a very positive one for all.
Be sure to look for them and many of the wonderful vendors and crafters at next year's Peachtree Corners Festival on June 8 and 9, 2013.
