City to Hold 2nd Public Hearing on Budget Tuesday

On the Peachtree Corners City Council agenda is adopting the proposed budget for FY 2013.

 

The City Council has scheduled a Special Called Meeting for Tuesday night. On the agenda is a second public hearing for citizens to comment on the city's proposed budget.

Public Comment

Reports and Presentations

Listed in old business the City Council will:

  • Consider an ordinance to adopt the Fiscal Year 2013 Budget.
  • And consider an ordinance to approve a Franchise Agreement between Georgia Power and the city.

In new business:

  • The City Council will consider a resolution Authorizing Membership in the Georgia Interlocal Risk Management Agency.

The City Council Special Called Meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Fowler YMCA, 5600 W. Jones Bridge Road in Peachtree Corners.

Well it does not look like the new city is going to discuss the budget with any of the concerned citizens of Peachtree Corners. Tonight's meeting will take a vote on passing the budget we have all seen and gasped at. So much for we have better representation on being heard! this looks like more of the same, but at a higher cost!
