Wow, now we can see why the budget has blown up so BIG!
1. How can a copier, scanner, fax, postage meter and telephones cost $35,000??
-is it laced in Gold?
2. How can office furniture cost $50,000
-this not a private company making billions of dollars a year, is it?
3. How can the City Manager be offered a $30,000 moving and temporary housing allowance?
-the large companies do not even offer this anymore, except for C level people

You forgot $100K for a call center so somebody can answer the phone and forward the calls to the county, and $50K for signs for the new city hall...

Fascinating. $2.7M budget with no provisions for trash pickup, fire, police, or actually any city services other than salary for a part-time manager, clerk, council and mayor, etc, building rent and computer systems. $2.2M from taxes and fees with absolutely no specific services provided. This is anything but a lean operation. This is what happens when....

Yeah, this is mind-blowingly awful. They hired people from failed cities as our "advisors", what do you expect?
This is craziness; everything I was promised was a lie :(.

David what do you remember about the $800,000 budget that Mike Mason was going around telling all the HOAs about before the vote on the City?
His background is CFO, how could he not have a better understanding of cost?
This is starting to feel like the commissioner scenario in Gwinnett County, please no repeat.

Thank you Judy did not realize it had been added. After reviewing the budget I hope our elected officials plan on changing several of those figures. They seem way off from what the citizens were promised in "City Lite"
no way
