Update: Meadowcreek High Student Dies in Car Crash
Three other students also injured in the collision in unincorporated Norcross.

Around 200 students, faculty members and locals attended a vigil for the deceased student Sunday evening at Meadowcreek High, according to a report from the Gwinnett Daily Post. Others left memorials near the accident site on Steve Reynolds Boulevard.
The report also notes that the third person injured is also a student.

The fatality in the collision was Meadowcreek High student Johlonda Lindsey. Two other students, sisters Kendrea Walker and Caleena Walker, also were among those injured in the accident. They were headed to an after-party prom in Lawrenceville, according to an AJC report.
One person is dead and three were transported to the hospital from a car collision early Sunday that occurred in unincorporated Norcross.
The incident occurred around 12:25 a.m. April 29 near the intersection of Steve Reynolds Boulevard and Beaver Ruin Road, according to a press release from Gwinnett County Police. Investigators believe a car traveling north on Steve Reynolds crossed the center line on the road and collided with a vehicle traveling south.
Two occupants were ejected from the vehicle. One occupant died on scene, and a second person is in critical condition and was transported to the hospital. Two others were transported with non-life threatening injuries.
The identites and ages of the victims were not been released.
Preliminary investigation indicates that speed may have been a contributing factor to the collision. Alcohol does not seem to have been involved.
Warrants have been obtained for the driver at fault. They include vehicle homicide in the first degree, failure to maintain lane, three counts of serious injury by vehicle and reckless driving.
