Get a Taste of Norcross Friday Night
A number of Peachtree Corners restaurants to offer tasting menus, all proceeds to benefit the Blue Devils.
Like to have a nibble of Aomi sushi, followed by a bit of Ippolito’s Italian, with Samui Island Thai for dessert? Yes, it’s a local gastronomic dream night… And it could happen this Friday at Norcross High School at the annual Taste of Norcross event.
Twenty-six local restaurants will offer menu samples, with proceeds directly benefiting school programs. The $10 ticket will get you five tastings plus one drink. Organizers say that for some families every member might not need a ticket, since tastings can be shared.
Participating restuarants include Bleu House Cafe, Flying Biscuit, Happy Valley, J. Alexander's, Samui Island, Smashburger, Ted's Montana Grill, Vallarta Mexican Grill and many more.
The event, which will be held at Norcross High School from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., will also include a silent auction and “Relay Ruckus Kidzone,” a new feature this year.
There are 3,500 tickets available through the boosters clubs of various school programs, including band, baseball, drama, football, orchestra, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball and more. For a list of contacts in the various clubs and organizations, see this web page.
