September is upon us and that means two things... well it probably means an infinite number of things but two really important ones are that you should 1. get up and 2. Get Out!
This weekend, Cirque du Soleil returns to the Gwinnett Arena with Dralion. In this show, the 3,000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts will be combined with the multidisciplinary presentation of Cirque. Shows are taking place all weekend.

Saturday - 3:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Sunday - 1:00 and 5:00 p.m.
This summer's Norcross Concert Series in Thrasher Park comes to an end this Friday with the Jimmy Buffett tribute band, A1A. So mix up your margaritas and pull your shark-finned hats out of the closet and get to Historic Norcross. Just be careful to not blow out a flip flop.
Saturday morning, Barnes and Noble at The Forum hosts a story-time for the kids with readings from Ian Falconer's Olivia series. If Saturday morning sounds a little rough, remember, there is a Starbucks in the bookstore!

The Silverbacks play host to NASL's second place team, the Puerto Rico Islanders this Saturday. The season is coming to an end quickly so get out to a game while you can. Check the schedule here.
The Braves kick off a three-game set with the Los Angeles Dodgers this Friday. The boys are barreling down on their second consecutive playoff berth and look to make up some ground on the division leading Phillies. So grab some friends and head out to Turner Field any of these days.
