Norcross High Player in State 'All-Star' Game
Local running back playing in Georgia Junior Bowl, tonight at 7 at Grady Stadium.
Alvin Kamara will take the field today for the Georgia Junior Bowl, touted by its organizers as the first all-star football game of its kind showcasing the top junior football players in the state of Georgia.
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. today at Grady High School Stadium. The game will be televised live on ESPN3.
Kamara, a running back for Norcross High School, graduates in 2013. He has already recieved an offer from Syracuse, according to the Junior Bowl website.
The purpose of the Georgia Junior Bowl is to enhance student athletes recruiting exposure before their senior year and to aide in the their development academically, athletically and socially, according to the event's website.
