A man was arrested for public indecency last week after he allegedly showed his genitals to a woman inside an Ingles in Peachtree Corners.

According to the Gwinnett County police report, a 19-year-old woman had been shopping at the 5075 Peachtree Parkway grocery store with her infant daughter around 10 a.m. Sunday, March 25, when the incident occurred.

She told police that she saw a man, 42, wrapped in a white blanket. As he passed her, he yelled, "Hey!" so she turned toward him.

He allegedly opened the blanket to expose his genitals, and she screamed for an employee for help. She told police that he casually walked out of the store and got into his Jeep.

The man had left when police arrived on scene, but shortly after, authorities received multiple calls of a reckless driver in a Jeep in the area.

One call said that the car was parked at the entrance to Wesleyan School, located on Spalding Drive across from Norcross High. When officers arrived, they noticed the man was wearing nothing except tennis shoes.

He told police that he was nude because of a dare from his friend.

The suspect was arrested and sent to the Gwinnett County Jail without incident.
