Polly Rescued, Now Needs Her Own Family

Adult Beagle retrieved from a shelter is friendly, enjoys attention, and is waiting to be adopted.

Polly is a sweet 5 year old adult beagle who must have had a very sad life. We first learned about her when she was in a shelter and was being treated for heart worm disease.

Poor Polly acted like she had never had the slightest bit of attention or a kind word. Now she is in a foster home where for the first time in her life she is experiencing love, and she is in 7th heaven! She even has her own toys to play with!

Polly has big soft eyes and long floppy ears. Her foster mom says that she has her own vocabulary and can make the most incredible sounds when she is talking to you!

Polly is both crate trained and house trained. She does very well with the other dogs in the household, but gets a little too excited with cats. She is totally devoted to her foster family and wants to be wherever they are. Please note that we do want her new home to have a fenced-in yard.

Like all our dogs, Polly is spayed, has recovered completely from her bout with heart worm disease, has received her vaccinations and is microhipped.

For an application or find out more about this special dog, please email her foster mom at karin@angelsrescue.org.

Editor's note: Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in north Georgia. The organization operates through a network of foster homes in the north metro Atlanta area.
