Splash into the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center

Getting wet has never been so much fun.

Did you know that Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation is a world-class leader in parks and recreation? One of the finest water facilities in the county is the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center on 4488 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and that’s just a short drive from where you are.

The indoor 25-yard by 25-meter competition pool with 750-seat spectator area and instructional pool is open year round. Outdoors the leisure pool features a zero-depth entry, two giant water slides, river channel, bubble bench, vortex, spray bar, water play structures, and they’re open all summer.Β

Don’t know how to swim? No problem. There’s private, semi-private and group lessons available to all ages and if you’re already a swimmer, you might consider the lifeguard training or lifeguard instructor and water safety instructor classes that just might get you a job!Β

Did you know the lifeguards are so good, they won the Georgia Recreation and Park Association’s State Lifeguard Competition Team Championships consecutively for the years 2006 through 2008 and they placed second in the 2009 competition?

No more excuses! Get into the swim.
