You soon may be able to get a different kind of brew at your neighborhood Starbucks. The coffee company announced this week they will begin selling beer and wine at stores in Atlanta, Chicago, Southern California and the Pacific Northwest by the end of 2012.
Starbucks has not yet identified the locations yet, however there will be four to six shops serving alcohol in the Atlanta area later this year. They will also serve premium food such as savory snacks, small plates and hot flatbreads.
“As our customers transition from work to home, many are looking for a warm and inviting place to unwind and connect with the people they care about,” said Clarice Turner, Starbucks' senior vice president, U.S. Operations in a release. “At select stores where it is relevant for the neighborhood, we are focused on creating an atmosphere where our customers can relax with a friend, a small bite to eat and a cup of coffee or glass of wine.”
Seattle-based Starbucks says they've seen great success after introducing beer and wine to a location in its hometown in 2010. There are now five stores in the Seattle area and one in Portland, Oregon serving alcohol in addition to coffee and tea.
There are two Starbuck locations in Peachtree Corners:

I think it would be fine if the sold coffee liquor drinks as well, there are other coffee shops that sell alcohol & there aren't any problems.
