Rep. Rob Woodall (R-GA-07) will be the guest speaker at the Aug. 11 meeting of the Founding Father Tea Party Patriots.

Representatives from Citizens for a Better Gwinnett (C4BG) also plan to attend.

C4BG member Jim Regan said the group has requested Rep. Woodall sponsor a bill to defund the FAA Airport Privatization Program.

“Thus far Rep Woodall has not committed to our request,” Regan wrote in a Facebook invitation to the event. “This is our opportunity to show support as we continue to oppose the expansion of Briscoe Field.”

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at The Flying Machine, located at 510 Briscoe Boulevard in Lawrenceville.
