What about the 500,000 in Gwinnett who want the airport for commercial and economic gain? Oh yeah, not in my backyard. I'd rather stay unemployed.

P.S. Any commercial use of the airport going forward would be minimal. Southwest Airlines is off the table now that they have acquired AirTran, so no need to worry about that.

If you agree attempting to initiate scheduled passenger aviation at Briscoe will be a failure, why subject citizens to the loss of home values and the expense to maintain a larger more expensive airport?

Charles Where are the claimed 500k? I haven't bumped into any of them - save the 13 people pushing this which includes the members of the BOC.
