Rich, you're confusing laziness with convenience and low cost for the great number of people in our Read Morecommunity. I remember the time of individual waste contracting - we could not obtain the low cost that the city can representing us as a group, we had a continual parade of garbage trucks many days of the week (versus once a week now) tearing up our roads and adding to noise pollution, and neighborhoods continually had waste containers sitting on the streets. When you choose to live in a society sometimes you have to make small sacrifices for the sake of your neighbors and the common good.

I remember the time of individual waste contracting - we could not obtain the low cost that the city can representing us as a group, we had a continual parade of garbage trucks many days of the week (versus once a week now) tearing up our roads, interfering with traffic flow, and adding to noise pollution, and neighborhoods continually had waste containers sitting on the streets. When you choose to live in a society sometimes you have to make small sacrifices for the sake of your neighbors and the common good.

By the way, Rich, you state that "I also have the ability to dispose of my waste legally, asRead Morema ny others do." Out of curiosity, how do you so dispose of your waste?

You should treat it as if there was a slow moving car in the turn lane, which would mean slowingRead Moredow n, even to a stop, before turning into the turn lane. I realize this would cause a potential issue to cars behind you, but hopefully you would have looked ahead and seen the potential issue, and started slowing down and turned on your blinker in advance.

This sounds great except people go 60-65mph on this road and if I did get hit from behind I wouldRead Morepr obably get knocked into the biker which I don't think would end well! Guess next time I'll just continue on until I can make a U turn and come back.
