The Governor’s Office of Workforce Development and the Georgia Department of Labor will host the Georgia Jobs for Veterans Career Expo on Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Georgia World Congress Center. This expo is an excellent opportunity for Georgia’s employers to fulfill their hiring needs with qualified veterans. While the expo is designed for veterans, it is open to the general public.

During the expo, GDOL staff will provide a variety of services to help attendees be successful in their job search.  Among those services are assistance in transferring military experience and skills to the civilian job market, and workshops on topics such as “How To Use Social Media In Your Job Search,” “Interviewing Tips and Strategies,” and “Resume Preparation.”
