  • MORE WINTER WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT NORTH GEORGIA MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. A WINTER WEATHER WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MUCH OF NORTH GEORGIA FOR MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON. HOWEVER THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY IN THE AMOUNTS OF SNOWFALL AND HOW FAR SOUTH THE SNOW WILL REACH. THOSE IN NORTH GEORGIA AND PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA NEED TO MONITOR THIS SITUATION CLOSELY.

The weather service says as much as 4 inches of snow may fall in North Georgia Monday night into Tuesday — 1 to 2 inches in metro Atlanta.
