Amateur Radio License Class April 26 Sandy Springs

The North Fulton Amateur Radio League is holding a Technician class HamCram at Brandon Hall school in Sandy Springs April 26. This is a great way to get kids interested in electronics - giving the ability to hear and be heard by others all over the world. The sign up deadline is March 30, I think. There is some self-study and then a day long cram session given by some very enthusiastic volunteer instructors, lunch, and the test. Kids as young as 8 have passed and youth get free membership in NFARL. The club is actively recruiting youth. They will be at the Atlanta Science Festival on Saturday, March 29 and have participated in the IEEE Family Science Nights and the Girl Scout STEM Expos.
