Donate New Portable Electric Heaters to Gwinnett Senior Services

Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services is accepting new portable electric heaters (UL tested) at its stations to help Gwinnett seniors stay warm during the winter.

The heaters will be distributed through Project AWARE (Added Warmth Assistance for Residences of our Elderly) which is led by Gwinnett County Senior Services (GCSS).

“Project AWARE is a program which is definitely needed to help Gwinnett seniors be comfortable in their own surroundings. We are pleased to partner with the community and Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services to make this possible for our seniors,” said Melanie Miller, spokesperson for GCSS.
