Time to Sign Up for the Great American Cleanup in Peachtree Corners

Volunteers are needed for several locations around the city.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10 for the annual Great American Cleanup in Peachtree Corners. The event is part of the Great American Cleanup sponsored by Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful.

The UPCCA is teaming up with city officials including Mayor Mike Mason, City Council members Phil Sadd, Alex Wright, Jeanne Aulbach, Lorri Christopher, Weare Gratwick and County Commissioner Lynnette Howard to clean up the streets around the city.

Volunteers are needed for several locations around the city and are asked to work two hour shifts between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Click here or a list of roadways targeted for clean up, to volunteer or for more details.

Just an hour of your time can make a huge difference along the streets of Peachtree Corners. Plus you get to hang out with some neat people and get treats. For more info, email me at pbruschi@bellsouth.net. Kids 12 years and older are welcome.
