Adopt a Rainbow Village Family for the Holidays

Sponsor a family and fulfill their wish list or sponsor a visit to the Holiday Store to allow adults to purchase gifts for their families.

It's Thanksgiving Day and many of us will be enjoying a big turkey dinner with all of the trimmings and then settling back in our homes to perhaps catch a football game or just spend the afternoon with our families and friends.

We have much to be thankful for, but as we're all aware, not everyone is so fortunate. There are many families who have lost their homes and can't imagine looking ahead to Christmas and buying gifts.

Are you looking for a special way to give back this holiday season? Consider sponsoring a Rainbow Village family. Rainbow Village offers two sponsorship options.

Sponsor A Family:  This option allows an individual, family or group to play Santa for an entire family. Rainbow Village provides the family's wish list and donors have fun shopping and providing presents.

Sponsor the Holiday Store:
Each year adult residents are given the opportunity to shop at Rainbow Village’s Holiday Store. Allowing them to choose gifts themselves creates a positive level of dignity and self-worth and helps them feel that they provided Christmas for their families. Sponsors simply donate items to the store, and residents can choose a few items for their children or home.

For details on either program, contact Lynnette Ward at 770-497-1888, ext. 14 or via email.

Rainbow Village is a transitional housing community for homeless families with children. Construction is underway on a new Rainbow Village campus in Duluth that will consolidate its facilities in Norcross and Duluth.
