'Community Day' at The Forum Promises to be Filled with Fun

In conjunction with the Corners to Crossing Races this Saturday, The Forum has lined up a day packed with activities for the entire family.

The Corners to Crossing Races begin at 8 a.m. Saturday morning, but the day is not all about running.

Even if you're not planning on participating in the 10K, 5K or 1 mile run, there will be plenty to do and see at in Peachtree Corners.

This is the fourth year of the Corners to Crossing Races, but it's the first "Community Day" at The Forum.

And they've got a full day of activities including a kid's zone with bouncy fun inflatables, spin art, balloon artist and crafts, a magician and stilt walker who juggles. The children's activities are open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

And if you're an art coneseour—or even if you just enjoy seeing the the budding work of a future artist—there's an art exhibit featuring work from students from , , and . The student's work will be on display all day in The Forum's two lobby areas near Charming Charlie and Merrell Shoes.

At 11 a.m., a fashion show featuring volunteers who provide foster care for group will model the latest Banana Republic fashions escorted by rescue dogs looking for a permanent home.

And what would the day be without food and music? Starting at 1 p.m. the local schools are providing live music for all to enjoy. And for the nominal cost of 50 cents per ticket, you can enjoy "The Taste of the Forum," a strolling tasting event from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Here's your chance to sample the food of that restaurant you've been wanting to visit.
