Expect Traffic Delays on These Gwinnett Roads

The weekly Gwinnett County road closure report from the Gwinnett DOT (for weekending May 17).

The Gwinnett Department of Transportation says work associated with the construction of Pleasant Hill Road's diverging diamon interchange will require nightly lane closures.

The lane closures should occur for three weeks, starting Sunday, May 12.

Closures are expected between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Lawrenceville

  • Simonton Road from New Hope Road to Madison Chase Way will require intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts through June 2014 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Two others were removed:

Buford: Camp Branch Road from Kilgore Road to Wallace Road, which saw culvert improvements.

Lilburn: Baltimore Avenue from Village Creek Drive intersection, which had drainage improvements.
