Polar conditions may be the norm in Gwinnett County for the moment. But the weather still can't stop the annual Gwinnett Cooperative Extension plant sale in 2014.

According to a Gwinnett County announcement, the event runs through March 11. Such plants as blueberries, apples, and figs are available. Also such perennials as azaleas and gardenias are featured.

Only pre-paid orders will be accepted, the announcement said. Residents may pick up their orders on March 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds (use the Sugarloaf Parkway entrance). Orders must be paid by cash or check; checks should be payable to Gwinnett Cooperative Fund.
