January Events at the Peachtree Corners Library

Check out the January happenings at our local library.

Check out these events scheduled for January 2013 at the Peachtree Corners Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library:

  • eBook Download Tutorial: Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 6 p.m. and Thursday, Jan 3 at 11 a.m., Attend this tutorial session where library staff will teach you the basics of downloading books to your Nook, Kindle, iPad or other eBook reader. Bring your own device.
  • Peachtree Corners and the Ringling Brothers Circus: Friday, Jan. 18 at 10:30 a.m., Enjoy this special story time hosted by the Ambassadors of Laughter Clowns. Arrive early, space may be limited.
  • Toddler Time: Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Jan. 29 at 10:15 a.m., Children ages two and under will love this story time designed just for them. Story time utilizes books, music, rhymes and movement.
  • Preschool Story: Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Jan. 29 at 11:30 a.m., Preschoolsers will listen to stories, play games and sing fun songs with their caregivers during this story time.
  • Calligraphy Demonstration with Artist Maris Turk: Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Drop in meet and greet where guests learn how Turk turns calligraphy into beautiful pieces of art. The artist will be displaying calligraphy techniques while creating a personalized bookmark for visitors.

The Peachtree Corners Branch is located at 5570 Spalding Drive in Norcross. Check the library calendar prior to these events to confirm times and dates.
