Have you stopped in the new Great American Cookie & Pretzel Maker at The Forum yet?
Not only do they have cookies and pretzels as the name suggests, they serve the most wonderful smoothies. I stopped by Sunday afternoon and chose the mango flavored, it tasted like it was made with fresh fruit.
The new store is located just a few doors down from Trader Joe's and has been open for only a few months. While I was there several customers came in to order ice cream cakes.
Also on the menu are pretzels and pizza-flavored pizza bites. You can also order one of those giant chocolate chip cookies and have it decorated with a special message.
I'm not sure I've ever been in one of these shops before, but according to the company's website Great American Cookies opened its first store in 1977 at Perimeter Mall.
I think I may be hooked on the smoothies.
