Only One More Day of Rain to Endure

The week long rainy weather is expected to end tonight, but could turn to snow according to the National Weather Service.

Peachtree Corners, there is good news and bad news to report on the weather.

The National Weather Service is reporting that the rain that's been around all week is about to end tonight, but due to dropping temperatures, we could get a bit of snow this evening.

The forecast calls for 100 percent chance of rain. There could be as much as an inch of rain today. Patchy fog is also likely before 10 a.m. Temperatures expected to reach 51. And winds are expected to pick up with gusts as high as 15 m.p.h.

And for tonight the weather service predicts:

  • Rain and snow likely, mainly before 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Northwest wind 10 to 15 m.p.h, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Friday is expect to be sunny, with a high of 51 degrees.
