Peachtree Corner's Welcome Sign in Top Shape Again
The community's well-known sign needed a few repairs - but it's back up now.
Who would have guessed a sign would be so sorely missed -- but for Peachtree Corners residents who were accustomed to seeing that prominant sign welcoming everyone to the community, it sure was.
The sign, which is located at the split of SR 141 and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard was in need of some repairs. Several readers sent e-mails asking about the sign which had to undergo a few cosmetic work recently. "The sign was not done properly," said Debbie Mason who heads up the Peachtree Parkway Improvement Project (PPIP) during last month's UPCCA meeting. "It had to be taken down and done right."
The repair work took about a month, but is complete now.
