YMCA Family Fun Fest: Putting More Play Into Your Family’s Day

One of the greatest gifts that you can give to your family is the time that you spend together. On Saturday, November 10 from 1-5, spend a fun afternoon together at Fowler YMCA's Fall Family Fun Fest.  There will be lots of fun activities and opportunities for your entire family to share and play, including a 3-legged race!

 Play may be the best way to prevent childhood obesity.  By putting more play into your family’s day, you will soon find yourself getting the activity that will have your family feeling energized and strong.  Try your luck at the Fall Fun Fest frisbee toss or perhaps hillbilly golf is your game. 

You don’t have to be an athlete to practice healthy living. In fact, when your family makes play a priority, you’ll probably find yourself having so much fun that you won’t even notice how active you are.  Playful movement is one of the keys to a healthy family home. It doesn't matter what you choose to do. As long as your arms and legs are moving, it's good for you.  Join us Saturday for a free community Fun Fest, and let's get playing!

SHARE THE HARVEST – in our effort to help more children get the nutrition they need for good health, each week Fowler Y provides care food packages to 11 families in our community. If you are able to assist, please bring a canned good or two to donate at the Fall Family Fun Fest.
