Time Running Out for Early Registration for Corners to Crossing Races

Runners take your mark, the annual Corners to Crossing Races are just two weeks away.

If you haven't sent in your registration there's still time. But early registration ends on April 8. The cost is $20, after that the entry fee is $25.

Runners may register at the Fowler YMCA or online at www.active.com. Sign up for the 10K, 5K or 1 mile race. The 10K and 5K races are qualifying races for the Peachtree Road Race in July.

The 10K starts at 8:00 a.m. at The Forum at Peachtree Corners, the 5K and 1 Mile run begins at 7:30 a.m. at Norcross First Baptist Church.

Awards given to the top male and female finishers in each age group and Open and Masters winners. Runners receive T-shirts. Shuttle service provided.

Along with the race, the YMCA hosts a Pre-Race Pasta Dinner served the night before from 6-8 p.m. The dinner is open to the community, the cost is $5 per person.

And the fun doesn't end when the last runner passes the finish line. There is a full afternoon of activities in downtown Norcorss including a Beach Party Musicfest in the evening.
