Due to the New Year's Day holiday, trash pick up for Peachtree Corners residents will be Saturday this week.
The normal Friday pick up days will resume next week.
However, beginning Monday, Feb. 3 trash pick up days will change to Mondays.
And along with a new pick up day, residents will see a reduction in the cost of the service.
Residents will pay $11.50 per month per household. The basic service includes one 95-gallon cart and one 18-gallon recycling container, a savings of $7.15 per month for the same service previously provided by Gwinnett County.
The yearly savings is $85.80 for a savings of 38.3 percent annually.
