Local YMCA Offers After School Programs

If you are looking for a safe and fun place for your child to go after school this year, you should check out the Robert Fowler Family YMCA’s After School Programs.

When children enter the Y’s After School program a world of imagination, growth and fun opens up to them.  The program offers a healthy balance of counselor led activities, free time, and a calendar full of activities including arts and crafts, science and gardening, study time, special guests, and more!  

In addition, the Y keeps kids active with games, sports and physical fitness.  Lastly, there is always time for and assistance with homework, a nutritious afternoon snack, and time to socialize with friends. 

Fowler Y currently offers after school care for children at GH Hopkins, Meadowcreek, Nesbit, Peachtree, Simpson, and Stripling elementary schools; and they offer before and after school care for students at Pinckneyville Middle School and Ivy Preparatory Academy.
