YMCA's Annual Spin-A-Thon Raises $32,000
The Peachtree Corners facility's annual fundraiser benefits its Partner With Youth Campaign.
On Saturday, Feb. 25, the kicked off its annual Partner With Youth campaign with the community joining together to spin, dance and bid on some great deals – and ultimately raising $32,000 -- all to benefit the Y’s program.
The YMCA strives to make its programs and membership available to everyone, regardless of income or ability to pay. In 2011, Fowler Y provided over $180,000 in support for struggling children and families in our community.
Donations help kids attend summer camp, enable families to join the YMCA that otherwise could not afford membership, provide low-cost child care for parents in need, facilitate fixed-income seniors in attending strength training and aerobics, and empower special-needs children and adults with adapted aquatics.

The Y believes that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our neighbors and community.
