Celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday at Gwinnett Library

Library customers are invited to celebrate this year’s Read Across America Day, also known as Dr. Seuss’s birthday, with stories from special guest readers on Friday, March 2. 

On this day, Congressman Woodall will be visiting the Lawrenceville branch at 11:00 a.m., with a roster of volunteer readers following every hour until after 2 p.m.

Meanwhile Chopper, the Gwinnett Braves mascot, will be visiting the Buford branch for a story time later that same afternoon.

In addition, the Buford branch will host a line-up of volunteer storytellers from 12-1 p.m. Chopper will appear from 1- 2 p.m. to act out stories about sports and animals as they are told.
