The Forum Tree Lighting

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GEORGIA – The Forum on Peachtree Parkway’s (www.TheForumonOnPeachtree.com) Tree Lighting Celebration, on Friday, November 25th (Black Friday), will entertain and inspire your entire family. LISTEN, as the “Christmas Bells are Ringing” down main street with carolers, complimentary carriage rides, kids entertainers, two musical acts, a juggling stilt walker, magician, face painters, contests with prizes, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus. The Forum brings the family together to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with this annual Black Friday celebration. The show will be emceed by local celeb, Holly Firfer.

 

“We’ve brought together some of the best talent in Atlanta and incorporated multiple mediums of entertainment to provide our guests with a truly unforgettable event this year,” says Thomas Tropea, Vice President of Property Management. The Forum’s Tree Lighting Celebration will kick-off a month of holiday events and is expected to exceed the 3,000 attendees it has drawn in years past.

Pre-Tree Lighting festivities will begin at 2 PM and will feature carriage rides, Santa,  street performers and children’s entertainers.

Voices of Lee:

Featured on season 1 of NBC’s The Sing Off - Voices of Lee is an ensemble from Lee University, a religious school in Cleveland, Tennessee.  Created in 1994 (www.voicesoflee.com) by veteran church musician, promoter, and choral clinician Danny Murray, VOL maintains a busy schedule of mainly ecclesiastical performances. Murray still directs 10 -15 member group.



 VOL have appeared on ABC’s “The Sing Off”, "Good Morning America", Bill Gaither's "Familyfest" and “Praise Gathering” and in some of America's most noted conferences and churches. You won’t want to miss these carolers as they bring a performance of traditional Christmas classics mixed with a few new sounds of the season.

 

Sheree Hollis featuring the Tom Olsen Trio:

With a voice big enough to light every heart this Christmas, Sheree Hollis, accompanied by the Tom Olsen Trio, will put her signature twist on holiday favorites and everyday classics.

 

“THE FORUM CHRISTMAS TRIVIA”

Holly Firfer, with the help of The Forum’s retailers will test the crowd’s Christmas knowledge with a fun, interactive trivia game for the whole family. Prizes will include gift cards for grabs for the smartest shoppers and kid-oriented prizes for those kidTASTIC trivia questions.

 

Winners of the “35 Reasons Giveaway”

The winners of The Forum’s “35 Reasons” October Giveaway will be announced on-stage during the celebration. The grand prizes are 3 $500 gift cards to trader Joes and a Trip to Naples, Florida for 2!
