Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at The Forum Set for Friday

There will be caroling, ballet performers, carriage rides during the day capped off by the arrival of the big man himself, Santa Claus.

What a difference a day makes. Thursday it was Thanksgiving and just a day later everything turns to Christmas.

The annual shopping season kicks off at The Forum on Friday, Nov. 23. Here's the schedule of the day's events:

Carriage rides from 2-8 p.m.

Caroling from 2-5 p.m. with a performance by American Idol Finalist Phil Stacey.

Then a ballet performances of Babes in Toyland

Followed by the annual Tree Lighting and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
