Life Time Tennis Facility Opens At Last

The transformation of the 1960s era Racquet Club of the South is now complete.

For those who have not dropped by to see the all the work going on for the past two years, you will probably do a double take on the newly renovated, redesigned and renamed Peachtree Corners tennis facility.

Now Life Time Athletic & Tennis at Peachtree Corners, the 90,000 square-foot facility, and the 20+ acres it's located on has been overhauled for the 21st century. The address is 6350 Courtside Drive, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092.

Hundreds attended the grand re-opening on Thursday evening, Oct. 21. Guests were treated to champagne or sparking grape juice to toast the opening. 

The new center has expanded workout facilities and outside and the pool area had a complete makeover. The tennis courts now feature covered seating areas.

The Peachtree Corners represents the company’s sixth location in Atlanta. The facility has 28 indoor and outdoor tennis courts, six quick start courts for kids, two paddle courts and a 2,600-seat tennis stadium.  

Life Time offers lessons and leagues for both adults and juniors, as well as a certified USTA Training Center for high-performance juniors, a tennis academy for college and professional players, home school support with on-site instructors, after school juniors program for kids aged four to 18 years, clinics, mixers, and tournaments.
