Peachtree Corners diners will soon have another dining option.

The Corner Bakery Cafe, located on Peachtree Parkway, near store, is slated to open Monday, June 4. The company is planning a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on that day beginning at 7:00 a.m.

The new eatery is part of a 135-store national chain that was recently purchase by Roark Capital Group, an Atlanta-based private equity firm. There are three other Corner Bakery Cafes located in the Atlanta area, this will be the first located outside of the Perimeter.

"We're really excited to be a part of the new city of Peachtree Corners," said Barbara Blackwell, regional marketing specialist for the company.

"As part of the grand opening, we're giving out commemorative coffee mugs to the first 100 guests and offering free coffee refills for the rest of the year."

In addition Corner Bakery Cafe will be holding a drawing for a certificate for a free panini for a year. "The winner will receive a certificate that can be used once a week," said Blackwell.

The interior of the new restaurant is a new design for the company said Blackwell and will feature murals with scenes of the Peachtree Corners community. The restaurant also features an outdoor covered patio.

Corner Bakery Cafe is a fast-casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, prices range from $0.99-$8.29. A kids' menu is included. The eatery's hours will be 6:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. daily.

The menu includes specialty breads, hot breakfasts, made-to-order sandwiches, salads, panini and pastas, soups, fresh baked sweets, gourmet coffee and tea. For a complete menu, visit the company's website.

Peachtree Corners already HAS so many good bakery/sandwich shops. Atlanta Bread, Panera, and Grouchies are within a stone's throw from this location, and Magnolia Bakery is not far either. I wish them well, but also wish we could have had something a little different...
