Restaurant Serving Southern Style Fare to Open Soon
The new eatery, located in the former Ryan's Steakhouse, is due to open by the end of September.
Southern Buffet & Grill, a new restaurant serving Southern-styled food, is expected to open by the end of the month.
Contractors are busy at work transforming the former Ryan's Steakhouse location on Jimmy Carter Boulevard into a new buffet-styled eatery.
"The new restaurant will offer a wide selection of favorite Southern foods such as fried chicken, fried fish and peach cobbler," said Jenny Zheng, the manager of the new restaurant.

Zheng said the restaurant also will be offering kid-friendly food items such as Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes and homemade rolls. She said the buffet will also feature homemade bakery items, dessert buffet and a wide variety of fresh fruit and salad.
For one price, it's all you can eat; the lunch buffet prices range from $6.45 to $7.99 and the dinner buffet from $8.99. Children's buffet prices start at $2.99. The restaurant does not have a website according to Zheng.

Zheng said this is the second Southern Buffet & Grill location, the company opened its first restaurant in Union City a year ago.
