Roaches, Dead or Alive, Found During Restaurant Re-Test

Golden Wok on Buford Highway scored 33 on May 23, and passed its followup, but not with flying colors.

After scoring 33 out of 100 on a health inspection less than two weeks ago, a Gwinnett County restaurant still has a cockroach problem this week.

Golden Wok on Buford Highway near Duluth scored much better (81) on a June 2 follow-up inspection by the Gwinnett County Health Department.

But the inspector found a dead bug in raw beef in the prep cooler, live roaches near sinks and dead roaches and spider webs in several places β€” all repeat violations, according to the report.
