Greetings!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM PCBA!

Thank you for a great year.

May you have much success

in the upcoming year.

The 2014 PCBA Board was elected at the Holiday Gathering sponsored by Gwinnett Medical Center - Duluth

The members of the PCBA were treated to a wonderful networking meeting held at the Gwinnett Medical Center - Duluth campus on Tuesday evening.  It was a festive atmosphere as everyone enjoyed mingling while dining on delectable gourmet foods.

The PCBA President, Mike McLaughlin, thanked each of the Sponsors for their contribution to the continued success of the organization.  McLaughlin also praised the PCBA Outreach Committee who is responsible for distributing funds for projects in Peachtree Corners.  The leaders of PCBA are making sure that the businesses are contributing to the community.

A brief meeting was held to elect the 2014 PCBA Board: President: Dan Baker (Georgia Commerce Bank); Vice-President: Al Simon (Simon, Inc. Sandler Training); Secretary: Bonnie Marshall (Arbonne International); and Treasurer: Heather Rice (Fidelity Bank).

Other positions that will continue to serve on the Board next year are: Membership: Lisa Proctor (Sanford Rose Associates - Lake Lanier Islands), Meetings: Susan Edson (AlphaGraphics) co- chair and Mary Ann Staff (Georgia Commerce Bank) co-chair; Communications:
Allison Reinert (ALR Marketing Solutions), Technology:  Rico Figliolini (ez2BSocial).

The PCBA would also like to thank the dedicated service of Mike McLaughlin who served as President, and Cheryl Collins, who served as Treasurer for the last two years and are rolling off the board in 2014.  Additionally, thanks to Lisa Pugh who served for one year in the Communications role and is rolling off the board as well.

The PCBA is always looking for new business members who wish to become a part of this dynamic group of Peachtree Corners leaders in the community.  If you are interested in becoming a member, please email membership@peachtreecornersba.com

The PCBA Board is looking for someone to audit the books as we transition to a new Treasurer.  Please contact

Cheryl Collins at

 treasurer@peachtreecornersba.com

if you'd be willing to volunteer your time.  Thank you.

PCBA SPOTLIGHT on:

PGA TOUR's Champion Tour

The Greater Gwinnett Championship

Presented by

Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating

The Greater Gwinnett Championship Presented by Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating, an official event on the PGA TOUR's Champions Tour, will be returning to the prestigious TPC Sugarloaf on April 14-20, 2014. Eighty-one legends of the game will compete for a $1.8 million purse while supporting local charities. Expected to compete are defending champion and two-time Masters champion Bernhard Langer, 2013 Charles Schwab Cup champion Kenny Perry, Fred Funk, John Cook, Tom Lehman, Mark O'Meara, Tom Kite and many others.

Professional golf tournaments like the Greater Gwinnett Championship exist primarily for two reasons: to enable fans to watch their favorite golfers up close and personal, and to provide financial support to local charities. Beneficiaries of the 2014 tournament will include Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation, and the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation. Combined, the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour have donated nearly two billion dollars to charities, far more than any other sport, thanks to generous corporate sponsorship, tickets sales, and the armies of enthusiastic volunteers who devote their time and talents.

There are a variety of different activities and events throughout tournament week offering something for everyone in the family. This year is Executive Women's Day on Monday. This full day event will include a speaker panel, keynote speaker, behind the scenes tour, and networking function sponsored by Primerica. The State Bank Pro-Am on Wednesday and Thursday gives amateurs the opportunity to tee it up with the professionals, making memories that will last a lifetime. Kid's Day is returning on Saturday with games, face painting, photo opportunities with area mascots, and much. All week, children 16 and under receive free grounds admission with a ticketed adult.

The Greater Gwinnett Championship is a great place for spectators and sponsors to watch their favorite golfers while giving back to the community. For more information or to purchase tickets visitwww.greatergwinnettchampionship.com.It is a good time for a great cause!
