Three Dollar Cafe Peachtree Corners Response to Health Score

Dear Three Dollar Café Peacthree Corners Guests:

We want to apologize for letting you down by receiving a less than satisfactory health score.  This was unacceptable.  We are embarrassed and truly disappointed in ourselves.  We would never put your health at risk.

We have since received an 87B on our follow up inspection.  Although it is not an A as we strive for, we have addressed the two issues that kept us from receiving a 100: storing meat on a rack above onion rings in our freezer and having tomatoes and cheese not up to temperature on our line.

We have addressed and fixed all the issues that were reported.  We are confident that we are serving clean, delicious food out of a clean kitchen.

To show our sincere apology, mention this post and receive 20% off of all food and non-alcoholic beverages (valid until March 15, 2014).  Once again, we are truly sorry and disappointed to have let you down.

I agree, an apology like this to customers is rarely seen these days; management is to be commended for it. I'm hoping they will be able to maintain a top health score going forward.

I typically won't eat somewhere that gets an 85 or below, but because of the earlier rating and this one only being a couple points above that - I will wait till the next review and hope its in the 90s. I do appreciate them owning up to the problems and taking responsibility. That's rare these days! So cool on that!!!

A textbook response that earns an A+ for managing your reputation. Kudos to owning up to your error, making up to the community and promising to do better. Continued success. We'll see you again next Thursday! Cheers!
