By Colleen Walsh Fong and Nanette Littlestone

Are you tempted by the Black Friday sales, but dreading the crowds of people? Or do you have to work on Black Friday, or in the Black Friday sales? Or even worse, do you have to work ON Thanksgiving? Many people in the health care, hospitality, and emergency protection and rescue industries do. And this year, many retailers have decided to get a jump on Black Friday sales by beginning them on Thanksgiving Day.

If you are unable or unwilling to participate in Black Friday sales, but still wish to get a great deal on some early holiday shopping, we’ve got a great alternative for you.

The latest cookbook in our Easy Weekly Meals ecookbook series, for Moms on the Go, is available now via the linked text on all major online booksellers. It's an inexpensive "virtual" stocking stuffer.

What makes Easy Weekly Meals for Moms on the Go a great gift? There are hundreds of reasons–most of them recipes to take the hurry and worry out of feeding families with healthy and budget-friendly food.

This ebook provides one entire year full of weekly meal plans, corresponding grocery lists and recipes. All in the palm of your hand. It’s downloadable to any “smart” device, including smart phones, tablets, ereaders, laptops, and desktop computers. Moms, dads, or any other chefs on the go need only open their devices and touch a link to navigate through the book to cook quick and tasty meals all year long. We keep ours in our phones and iPads and pull up each week's grocery list right in the store.

Most meals take 30 minutes or fewer to get onto the table, and are designed with the schedule of a hectic mom in mind. The longer, more difficult meals are planned for weekend days, and the quicker meals fall during the week when many parents rush to get to work, pick kids up from school, and chauffer them to a myriad of activities. More hectic times of the year like the end of the school year and holiday times have quicker recipes. Menu plans fit each season.

Meals are family friendly, too. Many are designed for little hands to help, or are finger-food and portable.

And being smart, they are filled with loads of links to helpful tools such as a food glossary and technique demonstrations. The table of contents is linked, too, so moving around in the book is a breeze. And it’s filled with photos of the finished products. One more thing: our “Moms” book has desserts!

Easy Weekly Meals books make great gifts for busy people on the go, and they’re less than the cost of most “stocking stuffers.” At $7.99 it pays for itself in the first week's grocery bill. (The book for College Students is only $5.99.)

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy your holiday shopping this year, the Easy way.
