1. Back by popular demand: The Farm Mobile, filled with fresh Riverview Farms produce and other local goodies, will start visiting (CSA stop) every other Wednesday from noon-2 p.m. starting this Wed., Jan. 11. Shop for organic locally grown produce, free-range eggs, breads and cheese from local food artisans. From the freezer shop for grass-fed beef and Berkshire pork and whole pasture-raised chickens. Check the Peachtree Corners Patch calendar for future dates.

2. For shopping aficionados the news that Bloomingdales at Perimeter Mall is closing is both bad and good. The bad, we'll have to drive down to Lenox to continue shopping at the high-end retailer. The good news, undoubtedly there will be some bargins to be had. We don't yet have a closing date.
