President's Swearing-In Ceremony Set for Monday at 11:30 A.M.

Today the 57th presidential ceremony for President Barack Obama takes place followed by a full day full of inaugural festivals.

On Monday, Jan. 21, President Barack Obama will be sworn in for his second term as president.

Actually, his official swearing in takes place Sunday, Jan. 20, as set out in the U.S. Constitution. But since Jan. 20 is a Sunday, a second swearing-in ceremony on Monday, Jan. 21, followed by the inaugural festivities, will be held on Martin Luther King Day.Β 

Starting at 11:30 a.m. (ET) - viewers of the Presidential Inauguration will be treated to all the pomp and circumstance, including a ceremonial swearing in, inaugural address, parade and national anthem sung by Beyonce.Β The inauguration will be carried on all major networks.
