Holiday Weekend Weather Predicted in the 90s

Predictions call for lots of sunshine -- and heat.

According to the National Weather Service, the forecast for Peachtree Corners over the holiday weekend is calling for plenty of sunshine, but temperatures will be scorching.

Here is the three-day weekend outlook:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 95. 

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 71. 

Sunday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 98, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 73, 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Independence Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 95, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 72, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
