Patch Picks: 5 Restaurants to Enjoy a Valentine's Day Dinner

Each week we bring you a list of the best of the best around town.

Romance is in the air, it’s time for hearts and flowers – and perhaps a Valentine's dinner to show that special someone just how much you care. We’ve gathered up a list of five choices in and around Peachtree Corners. Here are our neighborhood top picks. If you have another favorite to share, add to the comment box at the bottom.

Mambo Italiano - Just thinking of Italy brings visions of romance, but since you probably won't make it to this lovely country by the sea, head to Mambo Italiano restaurant. Located next to Belks' at The Forum. The menu offerings include Flounder Francaise, Chicken Francaise, Veal Marsala and Salmon Picatta.

J. Alexander's - If you're more in the mood for some excellent American cuisine, then this nationally known restaurant may be just the spot for you and your special Valentine. Along with offering such dishes as Potatoe Encrusted Salmon, Aged Prime Rib, Ahi Tuna and Tuscan Steak, Valentines diners can order several specials created just for the occasion. The chef is offering up Grouper and Porterhouse Steak and diners can top it off with Banana Cream Pie for dessert. Reservations are recommended.

Pappadeux - This New Orleans-style seafood restaurant is popular for beignets and etouffee alike.  Don't miss the dessert trio on your celebratory night: Bread Pudding, Pecan Pie and Creme Brulee. Served on one dish so it only counts as one dessert.

Mojitos Cuban Bistro - Absolutely authentic Cuban food is accented with a freshly mixed Mojito drink. Its got a romantic but festive atmosphere thanks to the live Latino band--and you can take a carriage ride in Historic Norcross after your meal.

Paizanos - Yes, we hear you: Your date will not have pizza on Valentine's Day. But this is really classy pizza, New York-style. Try the Midtown Madness pizza with grilled zucchini and pesto with an antipasto platter to start.
